(i) Application Fee is required to start the admissions process. This fee covers the administrative cost of the necessary assessments conducted by our academic leadership team, teachers, and support staff prior to your child being offered a place in school.
(ii) After performing an individual assessment of your child and once a formal offer has been made to you, Enrolment Fee is required to complete your registration.
(iii) *GST from now till end of 2023 is 8% and from Jan 2024 is 9%.
(iv) **If payment is received on or after 1 January 2024, an additional 1% GST on tuition fees will be charged.

Important Notes:

*All fees are quoted in Singapore Dollars and are exclusive of Goods and Services Tax. GST inclusive fees can be viewed here.
*For payment installment options, we offer a twice-yearly option (50/50) and a quarterly installment payment option. Please note that there will be an additional 8% installment charge for the quarterly payment option. To find out more, please get in touch with our Admission Team at admissions@xaa.edu.sg.
*The Founding Families discount is offered to all families enrolled in Academic Year 2022/23.
*Founding Family Discount will be applied according to the choice of your preferred payment option (i.e, twice-yearly or quarterly).
*For mid-semester joiners, tuition fees will be prorated based on the month of your child’s commencement.

School Fees FAQs

By focusing on what really matters to both students and parents, we provide a high quality, exceptional value, values-driven learning experience which is highly accessible and affordable to all.

Included within the tuition fees:

  • Academic Progress Testing
  • Essential academic resources, textbooks, learning materials and resources
  • Bus transportation services for all school-related activities that take place during school hours, EXCLUDING any overnight trips

NOT Included within the tuition fees:

  • Goods and Services Taxes (GST)
  • School uniforms (estimated to be ~$100-$160 + GST for a full set, including standard uniform and PE attire)
  • Overnight/overseas learning trips (~$500 to $3,150 + GST per year), depending on the activity/activities
  • Extra-Curricular Activities (ECAs) ($100 + GST per quarter for activities conducted by school staff; $200-$500 + GST per quarter for activities provided through external vendors). ECAs are not compulsory but highly encouraged. Please note, there are 4 quarters in a school year.
  • Island-wide door-to-door school bus/transportation services (subject to distance, paid directly to external bus vendor)
  • Lunch/snacks (~$25- $30/week, depending on the number of meals ordered). Students are welcome to bring a packed lunch/snack to school.
  • Technology fee from Grade 5 to Grade 8 becomes necessary for students to have their own learning device to bring to school and take home, and the school will issue students with a device if they don’t already have one. The technology fee covers technology support, and school-provided learning applications/software installed on devices. For Technology fee, please refer to above Tuition Fees Schedule under “Miscellaneous”.
  • For Learning Support fees, please refer to above Tuition Fees Schedule under “Miscellaneous”.
  • English as Additional Language (EAL) starts from Grade 1. For EAL fees, please refer to above Tuition Fees Schedule under “Miscellaneous”.
  • Stationery (costs vary, depending on the grade and subject). The school provides essential stationery resources used within the classroom setting, however, personal items that students take home with them every day (such as calculators, exercise books, markers, pens/pencils, etc.) should be acquired from outside vendors.
  • External Examinations Fee (if required, these fees are based on the actual costs charged to the school)

We believe that published fees should represent the best value possible for your investment in a high-quality school.

At this point of time, we do not offer any sibling discounts, concessions or scholarships. This policy will be reviewed annually.

Students transitioning into Grade 9 at XCL World Academy are eligible to apply for a scholarship at XCL World Academy. Students who are academically gifted and/or have particular talents in the arts or sports are encouraged to apply*.
